Amber Welsh, Owner
My passion for animals has been evident since childhood. As an only child, I often referred to my dogs as my siblings—Jett was my brother, and Jana was my sister. The bond I shared with them was profound and deeply meaningful. I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible relationships we form with animals, despite not speaking the same language.
My journey into pet care began in 2019 when a friend hired me as a pet sitter for her company. From the very first assignment, I knew I had found my calling. When she eventually relocated and closed her business, I was inspired to create PURfect FURiends Pet Care.
At PURfect FURiends, my mission goes beyond providing pet care—I strive to become your pet’s trusted companion and best "FURiend."
Matt Penninger, Sitter
Matt has a full house of animals which includes 3 dogs and 3 cats; so he is quite the expert in pet care. Walking and the outdoors are both passions of his so if your dog is obsessed with walks they have found thier match! When he is not working you can typipcally find him out camping in the woods and hiking trails.
Calli Simpson, Sitter
Calli has felt deeply connected to animals since childhood and spent 13+ years as a devoted dog mom to her husky and hound mix. After both pups recently passed, she found herself with a heart full of love and time to give - and chose to channel that into pet sitting. When she’s not working or caring for your animals, you’ll find her exploring local nature preserves, painting, or making herbal medicine.
